Bloomfield Police Blotter: Burglary

Feb 21. A victim reported that an unknown person(s) shot at his cars with a paint ball gun on Belleville Avenue.
Feb. 20: An Ashland Avenue resident reported that her daughter had friends over for a party. After the party the victim was looking for a lock box, which was kept under the bed, the box is missing. The box contained $250.00 cash, blank checks, and passports.
Feb. 18: Lower Memorial Park reported by the Recreation Department that an unknown person(s) spray-painted on the field house.
Feb. 18: A business on Bloomfield Avenue reported that an unknown Hispanic male walked out the door of the business with a Laser jet printer without paying for it. The theft was caught on in store video.
Three cars were stolen between Feb. 19-20 on Franklin Street, Oakridge Road, and Lexington Avenue.


Three cars were broken into between Feb. 14-20 on Willow Street, Davey Street and Franklin Street.
Feb. 16: Two apartments where burglarized on Alfred Lane. Both front doors where forced open using a prying tool. Missing from both apartments are jewelry and credit cards.
Feb. 14: A Bloomfield Avenue resident reported that his basement apartment was burglarized. When he returned home he found his door open. Upon checking the apartment he found several items missing. Missing: 32″ LCD TV, Sony PSP, Sony Play Station 3, and sunglasses. The roommate also had items missing which included: Play Station 3, game Guitars, a pay check, and a pair of Air Jordan sneakers.
Feb. 14: A business employee on Broad Street reported that a deposit of $1033.00 was placed in the business safe. When the he went to get the deposit, it was missing from the safe. The victim said that beside himself, three of his managers have access to the safe.
