It’s Time for a Little Comical Queen Esther (and King A.)

Purim usually falls a little closer to St. Patrick’s Day, but no matter. Temple Ner Tamid is ready with its annual Purim spiel, to be combined this year with a megillah reading, tomorrow night, Saturday, Feb. 27. TNT’s Queen Esther parody this year is called “The Zion King: The Disney Megillah, Version 2.0″ and draws from shows like “The Lion King,” “Aladdin” and “Beauty and the Beast.” The show starts at 6:30 p.m. and is free.
Temple B’nai Israel in Livingston holds its Purim Spiel this Sunday, Feb. 28, at 7 pm. “Middle East Side Story” features music by Leonard Bernstein.

Congregation Beth Ahm in Verona holds its Purim festival and family dinner this Saturday, Feb. 27, at 6:30 pm.
