    Dick will say:
“I had no idea this kind of think was going on. When I signed a $20,000 per month commercial lease I thought they were putting in a laundromat!”

Thanks Dick Grabowski! Your vision for downtown Montclair is now complete! High class, Short Hills mall, with thousands of unattended underage kids running through the streets.
Let’s take bets: how many cops, how much $$ in overtime, how soon does somebody get really hurt in this place?

So this is a draw these days? Not the music, the crowd, the ambience in general but the fact that it’s one of “the most media publicized clubs in New Jersey!”

Wasn’t this 501 space supposed to turn into a nice restaurant? Are they still doing the gay club in the back door? The whole community seems to be getting it in the back door regarding this place and the former Diva lounge. I wish they’d move this kinda stuff to Rt.46 by the college.

    teen soda party = fail

Kids need places to go and decent stuff to do and all, but this? Not stuff I ever expected to see in MTC. Are there any parents out there that would let their underage kid go to this?
The Grabber really has become a scourge. At this rate it won’t be long until he’s run out of town by an angry crowd with pitch forks.

I bet every ecstasy and drug dealer in New Jersey is stock piling for this event. I’m sure the “security” at the door will be hired by the venue and there for show more then safety. 500 kids dancing with glow stick and drinking bottled water isn’t a soda party… do the kids still call them raves?

Man you are so right. Do you recall the ‘teen club’ JT’s in West Orange that got busted a few years back. These places are a recipe for trouble.

Sneak “Peak”? Is that like a surreptitious climb to a mountaintop? Maybe a veiled drug reference?
Combine that with the email I received today from Watchung Booksellers (a bookseller!) boosting “Tears in the Darkness: The Story of the Bataan Death March and IT’S Aftermath.”
    Sheesh.

Where else would they do it?

I’m not sure I understand why underage kids needs someplace to go and it should be a nightclub that has recently been in the press for a mini riot.
That said I can’t wait for this event ! As my sister would say – it’s going to be a sh*t show.
I’m in on some bets. I’ll bet at least 3 arrests, 2 fights and half the crowd won’t even get in the door due to the place being overcrowded.
For a town with a budget problem I’d love to post some dollar amount of overtime, but I don’t know any specifics to base those numbers on, so I’ll just go with a generic small pile of money spent on paying cops overtime (which they will be earning for sure).

    Here we go again ……
I wonder if “Tricky Dicky Grabowsky” will be sneaking his swingers sex club friends in the back door also.
Hope he thinks twice about running his “Sex Club” with teenagers in the building … we might see him and his “sex club” buddies on all the major networks in orange jumpsuits doing the “Perp Walk”

  18. POSTED BY Clean Up Montclair  |  March 27, 2010 @ 12:48 pm

Get ready for the “teens-gone-wild” …. they are coming to Montclair TONIGHT !
I hope Grabowsky and his “Rogue Tenant” will be picking up the tab for any additional police that will end up at his club.
It is THEY that make the money with this “Teen Club” nonsense, so the taxpayers should not have to pick-up the tab to mop-up the problems they create.

For all the cheap shots about the name and hand-wringing about the shirtless shot boys, I have not seen any complaints from the community – on here or otherwise – about the patrons of the gay bar. It’s a shame we got lumped into this whole sordid mess.

I would love to see Santorum get the nod. Maybe then the politically comatose members of society will wake up.
