Sheila Byron-Lagattuta’s police career in Glen Ridge consists of “firsts.” She was the first woman to be employed by Glen Ridge PD when hired as a dispatcher 28 years ago. Now the borough welcomes her as its first female Chief of Police. Congratulations to Chief Byron! The full story, on NJ.com.
