Cupcake Stop, a gourmet cupcake company based in New York, will be moving into the Flour Patch Bakery storefront.
The Greenwood Avenue location has recently been added to Cupcake Stop’s website.
Cupcake Stop will be turning just one year old in June. It is known for being one of the first mobile dessert trucks in the city, with six locations. The Montclair will only be its second non-mobile location.
If you don’t want to go to New York to get a sneak preview of the cupcakes, they also deliver dozens of their cupcakes nationwide with one-day delivery.

Too funny. I just texted mrs. prof with this info as I was hoping to surprise the prof family with a flour patch treat.
Oh, well. I guess I’ll make my version of Magnolia’s red velvet– delicious!!
Flour Patch will be missed. They were great. The best cupcakes in town I think.

The Cupcake Stop’s cupcakes are fabulous. They are light and airy, in contrast to the rich butter cupcakes at bakeries like Crumbs. They also sell mini versions of all cupcakes, which is a plus for those who don’t want to eat an entire cupcake. It is unfortunate to see the Flour Patch go.

Nice! I saw their truck driving down Bloomfield Avenue yesterday and was tempted to start following it. ;) I hope they open soon!

I would love to see Santorum get the nod. Maybe then the politically comatose members of society will wake up.
