Update: We have a winner. Thanks. More tickets to other events later this week, so stay tuned.
Montclair’s Wellmont Theater has been closed after some ceiling plaster fell on Deadmau5 concert-goers more than a week ago. There’ve been grumblings of concern amongst Lyle Lovett fans about whether the repairs would be completed in time for the upcoming concert, slated for this Sunday.
According to The Bowery Presents spokesperson Jaime Roberts, the Wellmont has been working closely with the Montclair buildings department to resolve the issue this week, and that the concert will be given the green light.
Want a pair of tickets to Sunday’s re-opening concert? Write to us with the answer to the question below. The first correct answer gets to rock out country-style with Lyle. Baristanet will be there too, so look for our “Got Local” button in the crowd and say hi. Please don’t enter if you can’t go.Here you go, and may the quickest draw win.
Question: What Texas town was Lyle Lovett born in and who is the town named after? You must answer both parts of the questions to win.

Born in Klein, TX — a small town named after his great-grandfather, a Bavarian weaver called Adam Klein, which later became a Houston suburb
I’m glad to hear repairs are completed. Can’t wait for the concert. The last time I saw him in NJ was at Waterloo Village, with Sam Bush playing mandolin. Excellent!
Jimmytown, you’re the winner but can’t get your email address off the comment. Please send me your contact information at: tips@baristanet.com to claim your prize.
Does anyone know what the Wellmont will be doing about the Interpol show that was canceled last week? Will the show be re-scheduled, will ticket holders be reimbursed? thanks

Lyle Lovett’s hometown, Klein, TX was founded by his great-great grandfather, Adam Klein.
Note that Klein was not founded by Lyle’s great grandfather as Jimmytown notes but his great, GREAT grandfather.
