Power Outage, Roadwork in West Orange

A power outage in West Orange was reported tonight about 8:30 p.m., possibly due to a transformer fire. Outage was primarily in the Gregory section, and does not seem particularly widespread, a source tells us.

However, road work at the intersection of Prospect Ave. and Mt. Pleasant Ave. for the past two days has made traveling through town difficult. Allow for extra travel time near Essex Green Shopping Center and I-280 interchange areas.
