If it’s a sunny Saturday, you’re almost sure to encounter kids with hoses and rags at the intersection of Ridgewood and Bloomfield Avenues in Glen Ridge. The car wash pictured here, several weeks ago, was to benefit Glen Ridge Project Graduation.

I ALWAYS wash my cars, myself. Never ever go to acommercial car wash. The products they use are super strong (some toxic) and in time will dull the finish and dull the clear coat coating. I have 4 show cars that I am proud of. The products I purchase cannot be bought at AutoZone or Pep Boys or Pathmark, that is for sure. Souverne by Pinnacle wax, DuPont car wash flakes, micro-fibre drying towels, natural chammois, all natural spring water with mineral water glass cleaner…’Ya, stuff like that.
These white leather seats are now 17 years old.

So Sandy, when can I bring my car over? :=)
I got my hands full as is! E’body wants me to do their cars, but, sadly, I cannot erase years of neglect. Not a magician.
I make the rounds. Bloomfield car show, every Wednesday June, July & Aug..
Millburn has one (HUGE) show – usually in July. Short Hills Mall Show, Westfield’s show, Branch Brook Park Under the Cherry Blossoms and the HUGE Florham Park bash. My wife likes it too. Many of our friends are also “Car-People”. None ever go to a car wash, or Car Scratch as we call ‘em.
