In a school zone? On a Saturday? Last I checked, schools are closed on Saturdays! How can you charge a school-zone enhancement when school isn’t even open?!
That school zone enhancement crap was always just that: crap. But to use it when school isn’t even open? That just highlights the corruption of the laws.
Frankly, I think just making up these school-zone enhancements in and of themselves is corruption of the law. But to apply them when school isn’t even open? That should be criminal.
Don’t worry me1004, Governor Corzine signed a bill in his last week in office allowing Judges discretion in sentencing drug dealers caught in school zones if children were not present or school wasn’t in session.
Wow. Am I the only one who’s actually *glad* that this joker was caught??
Round ‘em all up, I say – if you’re not doing anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about! Frankly I’d like to make the entire town a School Zone, day in and day out, so that all the hooligans can be hauled in and kept there! sheesh!
