This just in from the Township of Montclair. Water pressure in some areas will be lower tonight and discoloration may occur.
Montclair Water Bureau crews will be working at the Grove Street Pump Station from 10:00 p.m. this evening until 5:00 a.m. tomorrow, cutting in a new 16-inch valve. As a result, water pressure during this time will go down from the normal 100 to 120 pounds per square inch to 75 pounds per square inch. Some water discoloration may occur when normal water operations resume, however residents can be assured that water will be potable at all times.

I assume this is because of the upgrades for the new MSU dormitory? Grove Street was just paved last year and now there is a scar down Mt. Hebron, to Grove, to Alexander. I hope it can be restored, but it will not be as good as before.
