The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office announced that Seton Hall University will be conducting an active shooter drill, tomorrow, Tuesday, May 24. The one-day exercise is intended to prepare the university community, along with local and county law enforcement, to respond in the event there is an active shooter on the campus.
Members of the public and the campus community are advised not to become alarmed if they see an increased police presence or other activities associated with this drill. It’s only an exercise.
