David A. Halperin, Program Director and Policy Analyst at Israel Policy Forum, will speak tonight, 5/10 at 7:30 p.m. at Congregation Beth Ahm in Verona, about Israel’s options amid the fast-changing conditions in the Middle East. Halperin will examine issues such as the revolution in Egypt, the recent agreement between Hamas and Fatah, Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming address to a Joint Session of Congress and what it might signal in terms of Israeli foreign policy.
Halperin has been named an International Fellow at Columbia University’s School for International and Public Affairs.
