Montclair Gallery Walk, 5/19

While the Montclair Arts Council has ceased to exist, its influence lingers on in the Montclair Gallery Walk. This year, Gallery U Contemporary Artspace has taken on the role of organizing the event. Fifteen merchants and galleries will be exhibiting new artwork by local and international artists on Thursday, May 19 from 6-9 p.m.

In addition to the gallery exhibits, The Montclair International Film Festival will be showing short films throughout the night, and there will be an environmental film at the library, sponsored by Montclair Environmental Affairs.

Many local restaurants will offer a 10% discount for the night (restaurant guides available at Gallery U, 179 Glenridge Ave.).
