West Orange resident Jaime Raskulinecz, a long-time supporter of Tabby’s Place cat rescue/sanctuary, will launch a month-long fundraiser through her firm, Next Generation Trust Services in Roseland, which will kick off on Tuesday, May 31, on “Hug Your Cat Day.”

Ms. Raskulinecz wants to raise much-needed funds for Tabby’s Place, located in Ringoes, NJ, to help continue its unique work as a cage-free adoption center, hospital, and hospice for the state’s most vulnerable cats. She will donate one-half of her firm’s account set-up fees to the charity throughout June in honor of Adopt a Shelter Cat Month. In addition, she will personally match the donated amount from NGTS.

She currently owns four cats and all but one have been rescues from shelters or have found her in other ways.

Tabby’s Place is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which operates a cat adoption center, hospital and hospice. It provides a safe haven for cats rescued from shelters or hopeless situations, and those with special needs that would otherwise be euthanized. The proceeds from the June fundraiser will help defray the facility’s expenses to care for special needs cats who suffer from diabetes, cancer, paralysis, and blindness.

In addition to Tabby’s Place, Raskulinecz and her partner support the Homeless Animal Adoption League in Bloomfield, and will make a donation in June to that organization as well.

Anyone interested in donating to Tabby’s Place through the NGTS June fundraiser may contact Ms. Raskulinecz at (973) 533-1880 or JaimeR@NextGenerationTrust.com.
