Cupcakefest, an all-day concert and festival presented by Sweet Avenue and Planet Verge, will take place Saturday, June 18, at the Lincoln Park Band Shell, 176 Park Avenue, Rutherford. In additon to music presented by several local bands, Cupcakefest will feature scores of vendors, crafters, raffles, cupcakes and a Cupcake Eating Contest.
Proceeds from the raffles will benefit the John A. Bukowski Animal Shelter in Bloomfield. The event is free but attendees are encouraged to bring a monetary or pet food/supply donation for the shelter.
Bands performing include The Nico Blues, The Front Bottoms, Those Mockingbirds, Bern & the Brights, Fairmont, and Monday Night Bear Claw.
If you are not able to attend Cupcakefest, checks for the shelter can be made payable to the NYNN Animal Support Fund and mailed to 1360 Clinfton Avenue, #321, Clifton, NJ 07012.
