You got your sample ballots last week from the county clerk’s office, now it’s time to “pull the lever” for your favorite candidates. Today, June 7 is primary day here in New Jersey, and the polls are open until 8 p.m.

South Orange Village President Alex Torpey sent this statement to Baristanet:

It is our civic duty to vote and use that power to shape the future of policy making. If you are able to vote in primary elections please go out and affirm your choice for leadership today.

If you need help locating your polling place, click here. Read a complete report on the primaries here.

Want to guess what the results of Bloomfield’s hot Democratic race, or any other local and state elections might be? Comment away…

I’m not sure that it’s a “HOT DEMOCRATIC RACE” in Bloomfield’s 2nd ward.

Our independant democrat environmental Town Councilman, Nick Joanow is projected to win hands down even though the DEMOCRATIC MACHINE’s candidate had 3 (count them) three robo calls placed for him yesterday (one by JoeD) and sent our several mass mailings in the last week. One of the mass mailings proclaiming that he would “REIGN IN BLOOMFIELD”.

We should know what the counts are before 9pm since the polls close at 8pm.

Please go on out and vote!

I'm starting to see that our political strife on this planet and definitely here on B'net is due to a lack or abundance of Oxytocin. We can't help what we do or think, our bodies, dna, etc. are running the show. We are meat puppets to our hormonal & chemical urges. In the words of the immortal Bela Lugosi...."Pull dee string, pull dee string!" PAZ in Ed Wood land.
