Kitchen Nightmares And Gordon Ramsay Exit Montclair’s Leone’s

Construction on Park Street created the perfect spot for Kitchen Nightmares’ Chef Gordon Ramsay to have a heart to heart with Leone’s proprietor Rose Leone during filming of Kitchen Nightmares this week. Ramsay and crew have gone and the new season of Fox’s reality TV show isn’t until the fall, but you don’t have to wait to see the new Leone’s. If you walk by 19 South Park Street, the exterior of Leone’s looks the same, but fans of the show know Ramsay and the Kitchen Nightmares team transform every struggling restaurant with a revamped menu and dramatic interior makeover. Mayor Jerry Fried and councilor Kathryn Weller were among those waiting out in the rain to dine at the “new” Leone’s on Friday. Want to see if the transformation worked? NOW, we have everything! Suck it Baristaville! Only Montclair has restaurants so bad they end up on a TV makeover show.

that part of the show where Gordon goes into the walk in fridge and finds biological experiments always intrigues me, I wonder what he found in Montclair and more importantly was a haz-mat team needed to clean it :D

I didn’t notice any transformation — aside from the street being a mess.

    no transformation?

uh oh, what if Gordon Ramsey got there and said “(insert expletive in British accent here) I came all this way for nothing except to get a (insert another expletive) parking ticket”

Were they playing the “59th Street Bridge Song” in the background? (The Harper’s Bazaar version, of course…)

Also, ‘roo, Word Press is powered by Linotype servers, so it takes some time for the lead to heat up enough to melt.

Let me start off by saying that I am a huge Gordon Ramsey fan and because of this my girlfriend and I decided to take a 35 mile drive to check out this restaurant. It was well worth the trip. From the service to the food, we loved it. As soon as we got there, we were greeted by one of the cooks as well as the owners wife. We were then seated and greeted by Trudy, a waitress who treats the place as her own. We went with all of her suggestions from appetizers to entrees and I’m so glad that we did. We LOVED everything! They were all Gordon Ramsey recipes which were amazing. The fried calamari was light with a sweet taste to it. We both got pasta dishes for dinner which were very different. My girlfriend had the capellini a la bella which was a pasta with crab meat in a lime and chili sauce and I got pasta with butternut squash in a creme sauce. AMAZING!

I'm starting to see that our political strife on this planet and definitely here on B'net is due to a lack or abundance of Oxytocin. We can't help what we do or think, our bodies, dna, etc. are running the show. We are meat puppets to our hormonal & chemical urges. In the words of the immortal Bela Lugosi...."Pull dee string, pull dee string!" PAZ in Ed Wood land.
