My son’s cat is missing from our home at 128 North Mountain Ave, Montclair. He is an indoor cat and had never been outside until he escaped Saturday evening. A large Bengal breed, his name is Tigger. He is shy with people. If seen, please contact John Martin at 973-809-1273.

Dang, I read this as “Tiger Missing in Montclair.”
He’s a Jets fan, so he’s probably gone to Florham Park to watch them work out.
Seriously, I hope you find him soon, he’s an absolute beauty. Check your neighbor’s garages. If he’s shy, he’ll be looking for places to hide.
fraublucher
Ja, das ist me. But I miss mien umlaut!
You must know Inga, my laboratory assistant.
Blucher!
Vould you like a brandy….?
Varm milch?
Ovaltine…..?
Oh, you’re good. Are we going to do the entire script? Cuz I will absolutely go there.
This is a post about a little lost animal – why are you hijacking it for your own pleasure? Has the cat been found yet?
Oh c’mon Lola, at least the witty banter is keeping the story in the latest comments, and not leaving it buried under sunscreen and car fires.
I hope he’s been found too.
Oh yeah, Tigger! I forgot about him. Another song I used to sing to the young’uns:
The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is Tiggers are wonderful things.
Their tops are made of rubbers
The bottoms are made of springs.
They’re bouncy, flouncy, trouncy, pouncy,
Fun, fun, fun, fun, FUN!!!
The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is I’m the only one
Ohhhh IIIIIIIIIII’m the only one !
I have a good feeling little Tigger is out having good time and will turn up as soon as he sleeps it off.
That music. It seems to be coming from behind the wall…
Put za candle back…
The cigar is still smoldering…
What hump?
You’re going out of order, cro, but what the heck.
Nice knockers.
I am leaving the best line of the movie to our heroine and newbie, the good frau…
It was you playing that music on the violin…
Yes!
I was you who left the candle burning…
Yes!
It was your cigar smoldering in the library…
Yes!
It was you who….
Yes! Yes! Yes!
He vas my BOYFRIEND!
I’m out of order, am I?

Well while you all were yukking it up, someone posted some sad news on the WC about a cat, and hopefully it wasn’t Tigger:
“Cat hit by a car

“If anyone in this neighborhood is missing a pet, there is a poor kitty that met its maker on Grove Street between Mt. Vernon and Chester (east side of Grove). Looks to be a dark tortoiseshell.”
Let the chagrin start… Now.
UPDATE ON TIGGER: Good News! According to his family, the cat just returned! Hoping to find out where he might have been, if the wandering fellow decides to share that information.
One thing I’ve learned about cats: They almost never tell you where they’ve been during their wanderings. One morning, I noticed that Cassie’s collar was missing. Someone suggested that she might have lost it in a cat poker game, very common in these parts.
Srsly, glad that Tigger made it home.
Glad to hear it. He was gone for a while. Too bad they can’t be fitted with GPS systems…
Thanks for the good news! Poker game, that’s funny! Musta been strip poker!!
I am glad Tigger is home. He is quite a handsome hunk!!
One morning years ago, I couldn’t find my Calvin; called all thru the house, poked under beds, etc. (he was strictly indoors though not for his lack of trying to dart out at every opportunity). After some more calling I finally heard meowing… and my poor baby had spent a few hours in between the front door and the screen! ((guilt))
Glad Tigger is home. I still hope that poor dog from the stolen car will be miraculously found.
