A Vote for Arizona Could Win Montclair Animal Shelter $10,000

Montclair Township Animal Shelter veterinary technician Lindsay Gilson’s newly-adopted puppy, Arizona, is a finalist in the FuzzyNation.com Super Model Photo Contest, and could win the Shelter $10,000.

Gilson submitted a photo of her Rottweiler-Shepherd pup-–formerly a resident at the Shelter–and now Arizona is one of 50 finalists in a contest that could win the Montclair Animal Shelter the top prize.

FuzzyNation.com, in partnership with Petfinder.com, is looking for their next pet super model. The top 50 have been chosen, now it’s up to voters–or rather, “Likers” on Facebook–-to determine the winners. A Facebook account and “Liking” Fuzzy Nation will get users to the entrants’ pages to vote. You may vote once a day until August 21.

The prizes are as follows:
1st Place winner:- $10,000 donated to the shelter or rescue of choice
- Fuzzy Nation will recreate the winning pooch as a plush toy
- $300 gift certificate for FuzzyNation.com
- A Kuranda dog bed
2nd Place winner:- $3,000 donated to the shelter or rescue of choice
- $100 gift certificate to FuzzyNation.com
- A Kuranda dog bed
3rd Place winner:- $1,000 donated to the shelter or rescue of choice
- $50 gift certificate to FuzzyNation.com
- A Kuranda dog bed.

    Please vote for Arizona and support the shelter. The $$$ would help the animals and would be a wonderful way of saying thank you from the community for the great work the shelter does!

    here’s the cool background story on Arizona, AZ’s Mom is Pine, that gorgeous blonde german shepherd who was found emaciated in Verona, she was literally bones and fur. Pine started putting on weight and it was soon discovered that she was pregnant. Lots of care byt the awesome team at the Montclair Animal Shelter not only resulted in Pine’s recovery (and eventually finding a furever home) but the puppies were delivered. Arizona is the last to go to a furever home.

I'm starting to see that our political strife on this planet and definitely here on B'net is due to a lack or abundance of Oxytocin.
