Photographer: “Our Most Successful Dog Days of Summer Yet”

Michael Stahl, the owner of Best Friend Photos, wrote and told us that the recent, third annual Dog Days of Summer was the most successful yet, in terms of funds raised.

“With the help of everyone who participated, we raised more than $1,100 for the Montclair Township Animal Shelter and donated more than 500 pounds of dog food,” he said. “A special shout out goes to the caring person who handed us cash to add to the donation.”

Best Friend Photo created portraits of 22 dogs, from a 16-week-old New Orleans rescue, to a 17-year-old Samoyed mix. “We had a blast and can’t wait to do it next year,” Stahl added.

This reminds me of some animated flick or other that featured a hall full of stuffy portraits of dogs in ascots.

I’m waiting for the results of the veterinary tests, but it looks like I will be adding to my herd soon with the latest addition coming from the Montclair Animal Shelter. What a great local treasure!

I'm starting to see that our political strife on this planet and definitely here on B'net is due to a lack or abundance of Oxytocin. We can't help what we do or think, our bodies, dna, etc. are running the show. We are meat puppets to our hormonal & chemical urges. In the words of the immortal Bela Lugosi...."Pull dee string, pull dee string!" PAZ in Ed Wood land.
