And empty water and bread shelves at the Kings in the Pilgrim Shopping Center in Verona.

Holly tells us she’s making home-made ice tonight because bags of the stuff are no longer available. I’m sure if she makes it, it will be really good.

What have you found — or not found — in area stores? And what do you wish you had?

Deb…should be “…bags of the stuff ARE no longer available.”

What do I wish I had? A few million bucks and more political clout in my stupid little town.

I am getting all my laundry done today. I don’t want to impact the waste water system once the storm hits. (and in the days after)

“home-made ice”? Wow, how quaint! Will you be posting a recipe? :-)
I’ve been making “home-made ice” in quart sized plastic containers. Block ice will last longer than cubed.

Just got in from a trip to the Clifton Home Depot. Not too many people there, but they did announce they had just received a shipment of generators. Passing by on the way home I noticed that Bottle King was actually busier.

I suppose at this point all has been done that can be done, save for soothing frayed nerves with an adult beverage or two…or six.

I'm starting to see that our political strife on this planet and definitely here on B'net is due to a lack or abundance of Oxytocin. We can't help what we do or think, our bodies, dna, etc. are running the show. We are meat puppets to our hormonal & chemical urges. In the words of the immortal Bela Lugosi...."Pull dee string, pull dee string!" PAZ in Ed Wood land.
