It wasn’t big — only a dozen or so protesters — but the Occupy Wall Street vigil in Little Falls last night did at least draw the TV cameras of NBC-NY. You can see its coverage here. Among those shouting “Hey Hey Ho Ho, Corporate Greed Has Got to Go” were Baristanet cybrarian and gadfly Arnie Korotkin, who organized the event, and former Montclair mayor Bob Russo, a union supporter, who held a sign “New Jersey: Stand for Workers’ Rights.”
It looked like another ex-Montclair mayor, Ed Remsen, was also in attendance, but he insists the look-alike was just his “evil twin brother.”
“It was important to show that in towns and cities through out the nation there is growing support for the Occupy Wall Street movement,” said Korotkin. “The Little Falls Occupy Wall Street vigil demonstrated that there is support for the movement here in New Jersey.”
“It’s a fairness issue. I don’t like the way things have gotten out of balance,” Russo told us. “When the banks needed help, we bailed them out.”

Maybe that’s why they call it “Little” Falls.
