Local artist Christina Saj’s paintings of angels are on display for the Christmas holidays at Christ Episcopal Church in Glen Ridge.

A Choir of Angels is available for viewing in the sanctuary of the church through Epiphany.

Saj, who grew up in Montclair and now lives in Cedar Grove, studied Byzantine icon painting and has worked with contemporary artists in New York City. Her work melds the two worlds, creating a modern interpretation of traditional subjects.

Her work resides in private and museum collections in the United States and abroad. To view more of her work or find out about current exhibitions log on to www.christinasaj.com.

Very nice altar. I haven’t seen something like that here in my country.
Looks classical for me. Thanks for sharing her website.

More liberal lunacy. And no mention of the tree ordinance? (you will no longer be in charge of the landscaping of your property). No mention of the Bike Locker ordinance rearing it's ugly head again? I imagine the pay-reaises for non-union employees is a moot issue. Given the proclivities of the incoming council, there probably won't be non-union employees much longer.
