Several tipsters have contacted us with the news that Brookdale and Oakview Schools in Bloomfield have been locked down. They received the news by telephone message.

No confirmation yet, but The lockdown is probably related to a perp search reported by Breaking News Network at 2 p.m.

An Facebook page for the Oakview School parents confirmed that the break-in and K-9 search on Bolten was the reason for the lockdown.

    I sense a pattern here:

Feb. 9: A woman reported someone broke into her home on the 100 block of West Passaic Avenue via the rear door sometime between 5:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and reportedly stole a laptop computer, three watches and a safe containing $3,000 in cash.

Make it $1,000. Some traffic tickets are more than $100.

More liberal lunacy. And no mention of the tree ordinance? (you will no longer be in charge of the landscaping of your property). No mention of the Bike Locker ordinance rearing it's ugly head again? I imagine the pay-reaises for non-union employees is a moot issue. Given the proclivities of the incoming council, there probably won't be non-union employees much longer.
