Glen Ridge Crime: Burglary At Hurrell Field House, Highly Intoxicated Juveniles

Date/Time: 2/3/2012 @4:00 PM
Incident: Burglary and Theft
Description: Officer Sean Quinn was dispatched to the Hurrell Field House to take a report of a burglary and theft. Officer Quinn reported that a black male wearing a black jacket and gray pants entered the field house and removed personal items belonging to members of the track and field team who were practicing on the field. Incident: Warrant Arrest
Description: Officer Nicholas Salerno arrested Yves Alexis, 20 of East Orange, N.J. for an active Glen Ridge criminal warrant. He was transported to headquarters for processing and held for court.

Date/Time: 2/4/2012 @ 9:30 PM
Incident: Underage Drinking
Description: Det/ Anthony Mazza and Sgt. J. Glenn McCann were dispatched to Park Ave. on what they believed was a medical call. When on scene it was determined that there were three female juvenile highly intoxicated. All three juveniles were transported to Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge for evaluation and turned over to a guardian. Juvenile Det. Troy Postlewait is following up on the case and charges are pending for consumption of alcohol by minors.

Incident: Warrant Arrest
Description: Officer Daniel Manley arrested Bernard Bercy, 27 of East Orange, N.J. for outstanding warrants. He was transported to headquarters for processing and released from court.

Incident: Criminal Mischief
Description: Officer Charles Roberts was dispatched to Forest Ave. to take a report of criminal mischief. He reported that unknown suspect(s) broke a porch light on a residence causing $200.00 worth of damage.

Incident: Driving While Intoxicated Arrest
Description: Officer Daniel Manley arrested Louis Martucci, 55 of Bloomfield, N.J. for driving while intoxicated on Ridgewood Ave. He was transported to headquarters for processing and later released.

Date/Time: 2/6/2012 @ 4:30 PM
Incident: Fraud
Description: Officer Anthony Rivera was dispatched to Woodland Ave. to take a report of a fraud. He reported that the victim had several charges on their credit card that they did not make. The case has been turned over to the detective bureau for investigation.

Incident: Warrant Arrest
Description: Officer Sean Quinn arrested Edgar Etienne, 24 of Neptune, N.J. for outstanding warrants. He was transported to headquarters for processing and later released.

Incident: Burglary/Theft
Description: Officer Sean Quinn was dispatched to the 100 block of Ridgewood Ave. to take a report of a burglary and theft. He reported that the suspect, a black male, 6’00” tall, heavy set, wearing a black jacket with red trim, in his 20’s, walked into the building and removed a laptop and other personal belongings. The suspect was observed walking on Ridgewood Ave. from Clark St. Anyone with information regarding this case can contact Det. Troy Postlewait @ 973-748-5400 X120

During this week the Glen Ridge Police Department investigated (5) motor vehicle accidents.

More liberal lunacy. And no mention of the tree ordinance? (you will no longer be in charge of the landscaping of your property). No mention of the Bike Locker ordinance rearing it's ugly head again? I imagine the pay-reaises for non-union employees is a moot issue. Given the proclivities of the incoming council, there probably won't be non-union employees much longer.
