From Glen Ridge Borough:

The resignation of Kevin Licciardi has created a vacancy on the Board of Education.  In accordance with the law, the one year remaining on Mr. Licciardi’s term must be filled by a candidate to be selected by voters in the annual Board/Budget Election on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.  The successful candidate will serve until April 2013.

Those who wish to run for this one-year term have until 4 PM on Monday, February 27, 2012 to file a nominating petition.  This is the statewide deadline for candidates wishing to run in the April election and also applies to those wishing to run for the previously advertised (3) three-year terms on the Board.  Petitions and candidate information are available from the School Business Office, 12 High Street, Glen Ridge; tel. (973) 429-8304.

More liberal lunacy. And no mention of the tree ordinance? (you will no longer be in charge of the landscaping of your property). No mention of the Bike Locker ordinance rearing it's ugly head again? I imagine the pay-reaises for non-union employees is a moot issue. Given the proclivities of the incoming council, there probably won't be non-union employees much longer.
