Flu Vaccine Available Tonight in Montclair

If you haven’t got a flu shot this year and are starting to freak out in search of one, you can get vaccinated tonight.

This just in from the Township of Montclair:

Flu Vaccine Clinic to be Held TODAY! The Montclair Health Department will host a flu clinic on Wednesday, January 16 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Montclair Municipal Building at 205 Claremont Avenue. All those ages 18 and over are welcome to attend. The fee for the vaccine is $20. The vaccine is FREE TO MEDICARE PART B RECPIENTS IF MEDICARE IS YOUR PRIMARY INSURANCE. You must bring your Medicare card with you. Now that flu season has arrived, the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones is to get a flu shot. New Jersey’s flu season typically peaks in January or February; this year we have seen it peak earlier. However, there is still plenty of time to get vaccinated.     So glad your encouraging people to get out and get the flu vacination, not only for their own health, but for those around them too. As a registered nurse, I all too often hear patients tell me that they refuse to get a flu shot because they are afraid it will give them the flu. I wrote a full article on this subject recently. 35k is the cost to build the website. I believe it's 5k a year to host it. Since it is simply an information site and not interactive with shopping carts and live chat, they really shouldn't be paying more than $100 a year. I pay 8.99 a year and I have as many pages as they do
