Purrs ‘N’ Paws Pet Emporium on 547 Valley Road in Upper Montclair will host a Furry Valentine pet portrait and fund raising event this Saturday, February 2, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Pet photographs will be taken by Beth Burstein Pet Photography.

Partial proceeds will go to the Oklahoma-based Bella Foundation, which recently started a New Jersey chapter. The organization’s mission is to offer assistance to pet owners who cannot afford veterinary care for their pets.

No appointment is necessary and there will be no charge for the sitting. There is a charge of $35 for a 5 x 7-inch print that will be available prior to Valentine’s Day.

I love Beth’s work. She’s great. I have a lovely portrait of my dog in my house. And it’s a bargain and it’s for charity!

    Thanks so much jerseygurl!

(I should also mention that all the good folks who participate in this event will receive a discount coupon that can be applied toward a future personal pet portrait session with me…)

Sure thing, Beth! It’s so much fun working with you – even though my dog is crazy you still managed to get a good shot.

Glad to hear there was a grant. It was an insane amount of $ that was proposed to come out of town coffers. Good job, BID!
