Every Saturday the very first thing I click on is the open houses. When I click on a listing that let’s me look at the photos, I spend a lot of time studying the listing and comparing features. When I come across a listing that says “you have to register here and/or be a member to look at the photos” I:
a.) feel angry
b.) immediately switch to another listing
c.) associate said realtor/company with said bad feeling (see item A.)
Maybe this is a successful and much loved technique that garners millions a year in sales for realtors but I simply resent it and walk away.
