Bloomfield is a Runner-Up in The Best Places to Raise Your Kids 2010

Friday, November 20, 2009

Bloomfield_twp_nj_013.png Last month, we reported that Baristaville did not make the cut in Children's Health magazine as one of the top 100 places to raise a family. Well, Business Week has shown Bloomfield some love.

It wasn't the winner, but ranked as a runner-up. The best place to raise your kids in NJ according to Business Week?--Edison. New Brunswick and Bloomfield came next.

Congratulations Bloomfield!

So, what's going unsaid here is the Montclair did NOT make the list. Shocking.

MFP-Montlcair isn't eligible based on the criteria used. The town isn't big enough.

"selections were limited to towns that have at least 45,000 residents and a median income of between $40,000 and $125,000"

Did they mention that Bloomfield has NO form of Pre-Kindergarten? That's family friendly if I ever heard it.
