baristaville's1stsnow.JPG It started with NYC and it's hit Baristaville. Schools have begun to announce cancellations in anticipation of the big storm heading our way. We will keep updating the list, so check back to see all the local closings.

Updated at 8:20 am Wednesday, February 10. The Montclair YMCA"s Snow Day Camp is canceled due to The Family Center Y closing today.

Events:

Montclair Art Museum's Park Bench program for kids is canceled because the museum has decided to close tomorrow.

If you have to get to work despite the snow, the Montclair YMCA offers a Snow Day Camp. Simliar to Live Y'ers Vacation Camp, you can drop off your kids for a fun day of swimming, gym, crafts and more:

Montclair YMCA Snow Day Camp
Who: Kids in Pre-K to 6th grade.
What: Child care when the Montclair Public Schools are closed for snow. Kids will swim, have gym, do crafts and more.
Where: Helen and Bill Geyer Montclair YMCA Family Center, 159 Glenridge Avenue, Montcliar, NJ, 07042.
When: Days when the Montclair school district is closed for snow from 8 am - 6:30 pm.
