Today's a Good Day for Lemonade

Monday, August 24, 2009

lemonade stand.jpgMontclair Kids in Action will host a lemonade stand on the lawn outside of the American Red Cross in Montclair today. The do-good kids are donating all proceeds to the general Disaster Relief Fund, which according to Gardner Temkin (see left), "Helps people if there's a fire or an emergency."

We caught Montclair Kids in Action setting up. From left: Abby Colen, organizer, Carly & Julia Colen, Addie and Gardner Temkin, Eli Colen, Rachel and Aidan Kaiser.

Go for more than the lemonade. The kids made cookies, bracelets and even T-shirts--all at affordable prices. The lemonade stand is open from 1:30 to 3 p.m. today.
