Grammy-winner George Winston is a one-of-a-kind pianist, whose work explores vernacular American music from stride to blues to jazz.  He calls the resulting mix “folk piano.”  He is also known for interpreting the work of Vince Guaraldi (“Peanuts” specials) and The Doors, among many others, and for his solo piano albums for Windham Hill Records (including “Autumn,” “Summer” and “Winter into Spring”).
