being a straight american male, i hate to use this word, but i will.....HEAVENLY!

not only that, but i will also say FABULOUS!

cramped spaces make it hard to give them perfect scores, but the restroom is very nice. and clientelle is friendly but sometimes doofuses. i can almost always count on them forgetting part of my order. but the food is so damn good...

also, is it just me, or does there seem to be a preoccupation with short, pettite, cutesy waitresses there?

my favorite restaurant ever. EVER!

Bonjour Montclair is simply my favorite! I love going there for a coffee... I have had such a difficult time asking for anything like it in other places. The steamed milk is such a special touch. It takes me forever to choose off the menu, and somehow the numerous spelling errors add to their charm. I love seeing familiar faces, and enjoying consistently delicious coffee.. and other goodies too!

MOUTH-WATERING GOODNESS!!! I tried the smoked salmon and goat cheese crepe - absolutely amazing.

Can't comment on the food, we never got that far. After waiting 15 minutes for a high chair (even though there were only 3 tables of people) we were finally given menus. After we were given another 10 minutes to decide, we were told that there were no potatos to go along with our eggs benedict. And oh, btw, the milk steamer was broken so no latte either!

We quickly ran across the street to another place.

We'll give it one more shot though. Wouldn't recommend this place on Saturday morning @ 8:30 AM with a baby.

Very good crepes, however they should work on interior...and way they serve stuff...paper plates !!! go across to blue caffe....no crepes though ;-(((

Bonjour Montclair is one of the jewels of this town. The employees are friendly and consistant, and the food is ALWAYS delicious. The atmosphere is comforting and pleasant. Everything is freshly made, and they'll accomodate any special requests. It's a place that you can go to 3 or 4 times a week, if your budget permits, and never get sick of it.

Stopped in early last saturday. What a let down. Ordered 2 coffees to go & it wasn't until I got home realized it was plain old coffee.
What happened to the steamed milk they used to serve with it. Is it now a special order??

Food (what I've sampled) is delicious, and coffee (I take mine black) is excellent. But it's set up more like a take-out place; the seating seems more like an afterthought. With a little attention to ambience, this place would be a favorite for me.

God, I love this place. The nutella crepe makes me a happy young man.

i love this place...very basic and simple. honestly, it could be located in a cardboard box, and i'd still love this place. it's all about their food, which is fresh and yummy, and the staff, who are the friendliest i've met. i love their caramel macchiato, nice and STRONG. and they have so many menu choices, i could eat here every day and never get sick of it.

Food is really good, esp. the soups in wintertime. In terms of the comments here, this is a very casual take-out style place--not somewhere you'd expect stellar service or atmosphere--gimme a break!

I often get take out here for lunch. The food is consistantly good. I've never been disappointed.

I just ate here this morning with a friend and we love it! We used to be Bluestone Coffee Co. people but got sick and tired of the negative attitude and mediocre food (not to mention having to wait fifteen minutes when there are about three boothes open).

I had the egg, cheese and sausage on a roll and it was delicious. It was also huge! My friend had the same thing, but with bacon instead of sausage. We also split the fruit crepe. The amount of food you get for the price is perfect! I am definitely making this place my new breakfast stop.

I’ve been here several times now and have always had a good experience. The crepes, the prices, and the portions are all excellent. The fruit crepe even includes actual fresh berries instead of the fruit syrup that is sometimes used at other restaurants. The service can be a bit slow at times, but nothing horrible.
