hey shut up, friendly's kicks ass. the food is great compared to other restaurants at it's level and maybe you just have a fat ass and feel like if you order a 5-scoop then you'll be like a pig. which you alread are. i gurantee that when you dish out ice cream at your home, you scoop out 3 times as much as in a sundae so shut your whiny little mouth and let the business be! cheers to friendly's.

No I would have to agree. Friendly's does suck. Especially their TV ads. They suck in almost every possible way. Service: sucks. Working there: sucks. Nutrition: sucks. Cleanliness: sucks. Food: sucks. Tv Ads definitly suck.

Personally, I'd like to say my service doesn't suck, but everything else about friendly's does. The prices, the wait, most of the people who work there, EVERYTHING! Especially those damn television/radio ads. I want to puke when I hear those things.

The Friendly's in Hanover, Md is the worst restaurant I've ever eaten in. I practically had to go make my own ice cream sundae while our waitress chatted on her cell phone and sat talking at a table with her friends. I can't wait till that dump goes out of business. and they will-soon

When I was a kid in the 1960's Friendly's was a great place to go and eat. But I haven't been there since the 1960's and people have changed a lot. Maybe with the influx of cretin Martians it does suck :(

I just had to sit through 3 days of bs training in a classroom on how to be a server. The classes were really like " how to to make the restaurant money in any way possiable"...I felt like the trainer was more like selling his store than teaching us how to serve..NEWS FLASH...we dont care about making your store money...we just care on how we can be good servers to make the best tips...cause at Friendlys everyone knows the tips SUCK.

I have only been to Friendly's twice (not by choice-children I was sitting for wanted to go). I will say that both times we had the same waitress and she was VERY nice and dealt well with the children. I will say, however, that it isn't the cleanest place and the menu is the worse I've ever seen. The garbage they have for children to eat is a disgrace. Even worse, is the fact that people let their children eat that stuff!!!! Thankfully, the unsweetened ice tea was good so atleast I had something to drink!

Why is this chain still in business? Can't you get miserable service somewhere else? The food is still disgusting! Those neon blue or red drinks for kids... what the heck is really in them? The ice cream sucks! The sundaes are really small, they just try to trick you with the thick glass dishes! Come on people!
